Join us for our Present Preaching Series called "Rocky's Word's of Wisdom" (a study on I Peter)  You can also listen to some former series messages called "Becoming a Giant Killer"; "Defining Moments:  How God uses difficult times to build our character"; "Looking from a different angle", and "Life's Healing Choice's", based on the best selling book by John Baker and Rick Warren.  We are working on getting our present series up and running on the website.  

2010 Summer BBQ Time is coming to a close so don't miss our last one: September 19 at the home of the Cliffords. Our BBQ's start at 2pm and basicly they go until people leave (Usually around dark!) Lots of activity for all ages.  Bring a dish to share!  Bathing suits for the pool.  All are welcome!

Vacation Bible School - August 2-6th was awesome!!!  Our teen "Camp Rock" was a huge success and along with a stellar performance from our teen band.  We had sports clinics each day....basketball, volleyball and soccer... and the younger kids discovered the high seas and sailing as we ventured into what the Word of God actually is! 

Special Notice:  The LifeSkills Program headed by Doug Glickert had a great season this summer.  They do not meet during the school year but look for them next summer! 

CROSSLIFE YOUTH GROUP:  For kids in 6th grade and up (if you are going into 6th this next school year you are welcome!)  We are meeting Fridays 7-8:30pm.  Our last summer meeting was Wednesday, August 18th.  Beginning the new school season we will be meeting on Fridays starting September 17th.  We meet at our church building at 109 Lake Baldwin Road unless otherwise noted.  (call Dave at 914-736-1587 or 914-772-5508 for any other info.)

Our Sunday Services are held @ "The Lake Baldwin Community House" every Sunday morning at 10:15am.  Directions are easy, take route 6 (from JV Mall/Peekskill area toward Mahopac) to "The Tool Nut" on your left (Mahopac Ave. will be to your right).  Make a left onto Lake Baldwin Drive and go aprox. 1/2 mile to the lake.  The Lake Baldwin Community House will be a blue/gray building on your right and on the lake.  Look for Crosslands Community Church signs.  Call 914-772-5508 if you need more info.

    Who We Are:

    We are a non-denominational church strategic in our desire to reach the community of Hudson Valley, NY. We meet at “The Lake Baldwin Community House”, 109 Lake Baldwin Drive, Mahopac,  NY from 9:30-11:15 am on Sundays. (9:30 – 10:00 Sunday School for all ages and our service from 10:15-11:15)   We are people just like you from all walks of life, occupations, religious backgrounds – spiritually seeking people, from skeptical to lifelong followers of Jesus.  We are people with successes and failures, days when we have it together and days when we don’t, days when we are strong and days when we are weak.  So because we are who we are is why we need Jesus and other people!  Most of all we are striving to be a community growing in our relationship with God and each other.

    We meet at the “Lake Baldwin Community House”, located at 109 Lake Baldwin Drive, Mahopac, NY from 9:30-10:00 am for a Sunday school program( all ages), and our regular Sunday service from 10:15-11:15am (There is a childrens church provided up to 3rd grade).  Our small groups meet in private homes throughout the community,  from Mahopac to Peekskill.   Check out the Crosslands fellowship page for more details on the small groups.  Directions can be mapquested or coming from JV Mall on Route 6,  you want to drive about 3 miles on Route 6 and make a left at “The Tool Nut” then proceed aprox. 1/4 mile to “The Lake Baldwin Community House” which will be on your right.  Look for Crosslands Community Church signs or call Pastor Dave at 914-772-5508.

    We meet every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:00 Sunday school time and 10:15-11:15am for our weekly Worship service.  There is a coffee/refreshment time from 10:00-10:15 and following the service. We meet during the week at different homes for various small groups.  We have groups for men, women, a recovery group for men, two different youth ministries and a childrens program called SEEDS.

    Come casual. God is more concerned about the attitude of our hearts than what is on the outside and if you come with a tie on you will feel over dressed!

    It’s not an easy thing visiting a church for the first time, never knowing what to expect so we want you to know! You can expect to meet friendly people, have a cup of coffee and a donut or bagel, hear contemporary music led by musicians on the guitar, bass and keyboard, occasional multi-media or drama presentations, and a biblical message with practical application to everyday life.

    We have a great children’s program too - SEEDS meets during our service (toddlers through 2nd grade). The kids spend the first several songs with the adults then join their own program with age appropriate biblical application.     We do have two seperate youth programs.  Crosslife Youth Group is for Junior and Senior highers and meets throughout the year. LifeSkills is our outreach program for kids 10-14 years old during the Summer months (May through September).  They have thought-provoking discussions and terrific events. Check out their links.
